Late summer produce is in abundance at the Community Market Place …. Just-picked sweet corn, melons, cucumbers, squash, green beans, onions ….. from robust tomatoes to juicy berries, find the freshest produce at the Road Runner Community Market Place.

Fuzzy, sweet, juicy and delicious! LaViolette Farms’ peaches at the Community Market Place are perfectly sweet, plump and ripened to perfection.

The Community Market Place features award-winning Salute Olive Oil, fresh-baked Great Harvest Bread, 2 English Ladies orange, lemon and lime curd and Sky Lake Ranch Pomegranate sauces, marinades, jellies and syrup …. just a few of the sweet, savory, zesty and delicious tastes at the Community Market Place.

Rain or shine, from spring to late fall, vendors at the Road Runner Community Market Place set up and sell vegetables and fruits as well as flowers, still-warm loaves of bread, honey, and award-winning olive oil. Colorful arts and crafts, T-shirts, leather goods, and jewelry make for tempting gifts. Community groups set up information booths and lively musical entertainment are all a part of this weekly event. Children’s Zone features include kiddie kars, a huge super slide, bounce house and rides on a miniature train. Wandering into the scene, you get the idea that this is the way life should be: neighborly hellos, generous samples, farmers rubbing elbows with university folk, and people pedaling home with purchases in their bicycle baskets.

Custom & Classic Cars, Hot Rods, Street Cars, Trucks, Rat Rods, Luxury Cars, Euros, Motorcycles, Bicycles, Skates, Slot Cars …. If it’s on wheels, it’s welcome!

Join Thunderhill Raceway, Legend of the Quarter Mile Jet Car Drag-Race champion, JD Zink, and Butte College Motor Sports for an action packed, fun-filled “World of Wheels” day at the Market Place.

“World of Wheels” will also include Auto Alley’s For-Sale-By-Owner Vehicles, Motorcycles and Watercraft. Enjoy a Hot Cha-Cha Barbecue Lunch by the Italian Guy, “People’s Choice” awards, prizes, opportunity drawing, hot & spicy food sampling and the Alice Peake Experience in Concert. Proceeds raised will benefit Butte College student’s scholarship and grant programs.
